¿Como le va? This week has been pretty good. Everday kind of blends in with the rest so hopfully I don't repeat anything. Two days ago we found out that we will be leaving the CCM 4 days earlier then we should be. So I will now be leaving of the 4 of November which is really exciting and scary at the same time. It is so soon, in like a week. I am ready to get away from sitting in the same room day after day. But I know I don't know nearly enough spanish. It makes me wish I had spent my meal time studying more. Glad to hear Ben made it to brazil. Last week for proselitismo was probably our best ever. We talked to alot of people and got our first reference which was kind of cool. We were walking down the street when a man stoped us to tell us not to trip over his hose. We didn{t understand what he was saying so he came over and talked to use. We taught him about the Evangelio de Jesucristo and then a little about the word of wisdom because he said he was worried about drugs in Buenos Aires. It was a really good day. I really enjoy being the mailman here. I think I kind of know what it is like to be Santa Claus now. People flock to us on P-day. One of our new roommates is from Mexico and he looks exactly like Hayden it is amazing I will have to send you a picture in a few weeks. Good luck on the house. Sorry this week was so short, but dads pictures were big. I love you! Hang in there Mom, next thursday will probably be short to because I have to pack because I leave the next morning early. "Josh sent us some pcitures that I'm trying to figure out how to put on here." This week has been so much better then the last. District Moroni is now the oldest district in the CCM. I got your package today it was so nice I loved the girls letters. Mom you need to stop crying when you read my letters at home Elizabeth thinks it is funny. My comp and I are now in charge of the mail so I will know now if I get mail, then having to wait till to day to open it. Also could you post on my FB wall to stop sending letter to here since I will be leaving soon. It takes along time for them to forward them. This week I jamned my finger playing football and got a huge concrete burn on my elbow from basketball but other then that I am alright. Oh yea haha in other news I used a bidet for the first time a few days ago. It was interesting but I wish I hadn´t waited so long. For proselitismo this week we went back to the same area yet again but it was pretty good. We talked to a lot of people. The very first guy I saw I said hey how is it going we are missionaries then totally butchered the name of the church luckly he was very understanting and talked to us for a while. We also talked to this older woman who was a great example of a member missionary I have seen in a while. We talked to her for 45 minutes about our church and she told us about hers she read us some things out of the bible then took one block over to a friends house to get a folleto and then offered us food. Before we left she read us the last two verses in Matthew which was really kind of cool. Other then that it has been a really good week. I am going to miss the older district though they were so cool. Anyway I have to go good luck on the house thanks for the package. ¡Que tenga un buen día! Love, Elder Wray |

Thanks for the letter. This past week has been a rough one. I think on Monday it hit me for the first time that I wont be coming home for the next two years, I miss you guys a lot. Spanish has gotten a lot harder, we are learning things that I barely know about in English. Each lesson I teach more and more which is good but it is still hard. I am excited that you guys are moving in soon. It is hard to believe I have already been out over a month. It is funny it is fall there because all the trees here are just starting to bud. I am learning so much here I love the teachers. I got my first letter today I don´t know who it is from yet I just know it is sitting there. Prosolotismo this week was interesting. We switched areas and on Friday we learned where we were going. When are roommate from here found out where we were going he got this scared look on his face and made a gun with his figure. It was some where south. When Saturday came we were delayed an hour because the manager of the mtc had bad feelings about the area. So we got sent back to the same rich area as last time. It was a little slow because we got there late. I will just share one quick story. We stopped an old lady on the street. We talked to her about how God loves her then asked her if she had a family. Everyone always says yea, but this lady looked at us for a second and then said no they are all dead. We were a little surprised but thankfully Elder Crawford is a quick thinker and began to share the plan of salvation then we gave her a folleto about it and committed her to read it. It was a really cool experience. I just met with a senator from Idaho and he said he might give you guys a call. I have really missed home this week. It is hard having to be with someone 24/7. This past week I have really wanted to go backpacking. A friend here climbed mount Kilimanjaro a couple years ago he said it wasn´t that bad. He said climbing Mount Whitney in California was harder. Well that's about all the time I have, talk to you guys next Thursday. I believe I leave here on the 8 of November. It is crazy how fast the time flies. Any way love you, miss you. Que tenga un buen semana. Love, Elder Wray |

The weeks are going by so fast. I had my first CCM haircut about 20 minutes ago. I was in the chair for maybe 2 minutes but it looks pretty good. Next week I will try and send some pictures. I am finally starting to get the hang of spanish. At least the basics. I can know go into a lession and not have to have lines memorized and I am able to talk to my new roommates alot more. One is from mexico in a city near mexico city. Our other one is form here I think and is like a pro basketball player he is like 6 6. Conference was really good. It was wierd to watch the first session at 1 in the afternoon. Because of conference we didn´t do proselitismo which was a nice break. We get a new area on Saturday so I will let you know how it is. Have almost finished a letter to everybody so it will be in the mail by tomorrow. This place is really amazing I don´t know if I would have like the Provo mtc as much. I have the coolest teachers every. Everynight the guys in my district usually have something called story time. After the teacher leaves before we go to are rooms it isn´t really on the schedule but all the americans usually do it. Usually the topic is something like first date or kiss or scariest moment of your life but two nights ago we did most spiritual experince of our life. It was one of the most amazing testimony meeting of my life. I am so glad I have the opportunity to be here, it is so much fun. I don't know what makes it so much fun, it is just alot of class and studying with a couple pranks along the way but I am almost always smiling. Love Elder Wray |

Proselitismo this week went so much better, we got off the bus and went to sit on a bench to eat our lunch in this plasa filled with people. Just before we got to the bench a man yelled La Biblia Santo, we turned around and talked to him for a couple minutes and gave him a book of Mormon it was pretty sweet. Later that day we talked to a women who was really nice and we gave here a folleto then she said something we didn´t understand and pointed at what we thought was her house. we started to walk in and I was so scared. We had nothing planed. When we got inside it was actually a church and she gave us a folleto about her church, which was like an Asian monk church. But she was really interested and said she was going to check out the stake center on Sunday. The rest of Saturday was slow because it is ciaste. We got a cita from the week previous from some latino elders. They said he wanted to learn more but couldn´t teach him because he lived in our area. So we were stressing like the whole week about teaching a real lesson. When we went down his street we found out his house didn´t exist, which was to bad. Today we are no longer the new guys the latinos and the oldest Americans left Tuesday which was kind of sad but our district and the group above us had the CCM to ourselves and the food got tons better. There where only 14 of us down from like 65. Today we got new missionary's only 4 elders and 2 sisters from the states and litino couple and like 14 latino elders. Last night Presidente George and hermana George brought us down to the kitchen for a treat of ice cream and root beer floats since it was only Americans. |
