Hey Guys
I don´t think I will need boots, but I am wondering about a coat though. Pic one outside my bedroom window the other morning. Pic two our house notice all the garbage stupid dogs, also found a mouse in our house a couple times so I know how you guys feel. Also found an armadillo tail on our porch. Pic 3 Elder Fonseca he didn´t want his picture taken.
We had a pretty good week. We found some people that will hopefully get Baptized. One of our investigators is just waiting on getting married. So hopefully in the next 2 months they can do that. They have been taught everything now we are just encouraging them. This week we are hoping to find people we have taken a few names off the past 24 months sheet and a couple choice ex-investigators. We are hoping to have a good week. We had a good Paso 13. Elder Fonseca had started to sleep after lunch and we don´t end up leaving till 3 or 3:30. But we talked about it and he said he will fix it so we will see what happens. He is a hard worker but for some reason he dosen´t seem to think some of the rules are that important. I just have to keep encouraging him I guess. He sleeps in till like 7:15 and sometimes goes to bed a little later and does a couple other things but we will see what happens. I had and interview with President on Friday which was really good. He told me Elder Fonseca could have been a really good leader if he had been more obedient in his mission. He also told me that my comps had said good things about me and that he trusts me which was kind of nice to hear. I sadly learned that I will probably have a new Mission President my last change or 2 but we will see. I had to buy a sweater last pday because it is getting cold here during the mornings and at night. When I say cold - 70-75. Elder Fonseca said it gets down to -8c so I am thinking I will need to get a coat and probably another sweater. It was so weird when I bought my sweater Elder Fonseca was looking for pants and he went to try some on while I was looking out side after a couple minutes I turn around and there are 4 girls standing there staring at me. I was then attacked with questions. Where are you from, how old are you, whats your name etc. When I told them I was a 19 one of them immediately yelled I am 20. Thankfully Elder Fonseca came out of the door a couple minutes later because I was getting a little scared. What else oh yea, I was going to have a talk on Sunday, I wrote it and everything sobre(about) the joy of service. But on Sunday I got bumped out by the Stake President and have to wait till after conference. This ward is so good. The youth of the past two wards I have served in have been so strong. The members love us here. They make us food. Especially Tortas Fritas which is like a scone or small elephant ear. Yesterday three members we stoped by left us with scones and another gave us some because he saw us walk by his house. Another gave us probably the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Anyway that's about it can´t believe it is almost April. Love you.

Hey Guys,

T-bo is amazing I don´t even really feel like I am in the mission. I am in Barrio Lopez if you can find that. From what I can see on the map it is kind of out of town by itself. Inside the barrio it is like my last area but we work a lot out side. There is a smaller Barrio outside about a 20-30 minute walk north I think but 15 minutes of it is through a forest on a small trail it is so cool it makes me want´to go backpacking so bad. That and the fact that this cyber cafe is play sweet child of mine and free bird makes me a little trunky. But while we walk through the forest people ride through on their horses and I feel like I went back in time. It's a lot of fun! I can pretty much understand all my comp says.(Haha! I see in the pictures Jason hasn´t finished the cabinets yet. I'm sorry, looks good though thanks.) I don´t know all the words but I just ask. Speaking is still coming, it is weird you would think you could say all the words you understand but I can´t but this week I have improved a lot says Elder Navarro (old companion) when I talked to him on the phone. To get here I got up at 5 to get on a bus at 6. I got to sit next to Hna(sister) Toki for 2 hours it was super weird. First time I have talked to a girl by myself in 6 months super uncomfortable. And she knows like no Spanish so I had to help with her tickets and stuff. Then we got to Pysaundu or something like that. I got off the bus and the ZL who was my first DL had no clue we were coming so I had to buy my own ticket. Then I hung out with them till 5 that night. Well guess who was back on the bus with me, you guessed it I got to sit next to Hna(sister) Toki again for three hours. It really wasn´t bad just a little weird. I was kind of sad to leave Salto it was my home and Spanish started to click the last week or so. But I like T-bo.  It is the home of the Gaucho or the cowboy you should look him up they look kind of funny but it is a really cool city, I will send pics next week. I think I just like it so much for the trees. I really don´t know that many people yet. Oh yea Elder Crawford my MTC comp is an office Elder. He took my place being the son of the legend I was destine but it's alright. I am in Elder Tyrees area. Elder Larson and Simpson are Prosoliting comps in Rivera and Elder Pyeatt is with Elder Salgado who came down with us from Atlanta but knew Spanish before the mission and everyone else from my group is all in the same zone in Deo. I don´t know how much sense this letter has made. Oh and I met a missionary from Spokane that was kind of cool and if Elder Bradshaw is reading this you need to right the mission my friend and Elder Shepard is my ZL. Anyway interviews are this Friday. This ward is really strong and I am ready to work and ready for conference. I had something else to tell you but I forgot what it was. Oh yea, 2 weeks ago Elder Fonsecas house now my house was robbed. They took his camera and MP3 player and some money but nothing from Elder Tyree so we will probably move.  President is going to look at our house this Friday but our new house when we move is a block form a pizzeria owned by members, 3 blocks from the chapel and next door to the biggest store in our area. We are a little excited especially since our house now isn´t in our area. Oh and a member had me write my info in his book.  I am his 153 missionary and guess who's name I found Elder Sigmiller Troy Rd. Kind of cool! Anyway that's about it got to go. Hockey Stats and a stick if you can find a way, I miss hockey.

Hey Guys,
This week was much better. Really amazing! I got my change last night. Me voy por T-bo. I am going to the district of Tacuarembo.  It's just east of Salto.  My new comp is Elder Fanseca de Panama yo creo (I think from Panama). He knows no English so this should be fun. I might kill another comp. He dies (goes home) in 3 changes. I am kind of sad to leave now. This was my letter to president,

Hey President,
This week was really good, and I am a little sad to leave. This past week we found 2 miracles. One on Monday night who is going to get baptized this Saturday, she has been to church 10 times in Bella Union but for some reason she was never baptized. We have taught her every day since then in her relatives house who are all members. She has so much support it is great. Then this past Sunday we were trying to get a menos activo excited to serve a mission when he introduced us to his girlfriend who was introduced to the gospel a while ago. She is amazing! She started reading the Book of Mormon a few weeks ago on her own and has read the whole Gospel Principles book cover to cover and knows it is all true. She told us every morning she has personal study and her study journal is amazing. She has been to church a couple of times but she lives in another area so we are giving her to the other elders. She is amazing! We have other investigators that are really good who will get baptized in the coming weeks as well. This change has been really quick. I have learned so much from Elder Navarro. I´m excited to go to T-bo though. Thanks for everything.
Elder Wray

These two girls are amazing! The first one was going to get baptized tonight before I leave but her mom couldn´t make it to Salto in time so she is waiting till Saturday. What else, oh I popped a blood vessel in my eye on Tuesday.  I thought it was because I got shampoo in my eye in the shower and then rubbed it but Elder Montes thinks it is stress.  It is almost gone though.  Anyway I don´t have much time I have a lot to do today. Getting everything to fit in my suitcase should be fun. The first pic is of a joven(young kid)  here who is amazing. His name is Maxi, way cool. Second my district again you should know everyone already that was today in the house of the zone leaders.  Anyway things are hopefully going to cool down in the next few days it has been really humid the past few days but it rained today so it is really nice now. Anyway have fun this week. Talk to you on Monday.
Love Elder Wray
P.S. hopefully everything worked this computer is really old

March 5, 2012

Hey,
Haha! I laughed so hard at your letter Mom!
So there is a family here that doesn´t like us anymore I don´t know why. The four of us had a Noche de Hogar in there house and a friend was there. The other Elders were teaching and it is a rule in our mission to give baptism date in every first lesson so they did and she accepted. She is 15 or 16.  She lives in our area. So 2 days later we asked the family when we could charlar(talk) but they gave us some excuses. We went back 2 more times and on the last time she wasn´t very nice. She said the other Elders taught and all you two do is annoy. I was like what?  We said were sorry and left. The next day her husband the Elders Quorum President in ward council, out of no where starts to drop the cain about another investigator and how we are pushing her to hard. Our investigator has lost 4 dates and each time we have given a new one. It is really just a goal for them to work for but anyway it was not really good and I don´t know what is going to happen. That was the big news of the week.  Also this week I was bit by my first dog.  It hurt pretty bad it was through dads trench coat because it has rained a lot this past week but I didn´t bleed.  It was Bernasconi´s dog if Elder Bradshaw is by chance reading this.  Their dogs are really bad German Shepard's.  It was through the fence when I was picking up lunch.  Anyway don´t worry.  Also Elder Navarro ripped his pants again.  Que mas... Oh I have lost a lot of weight this change not that I was really fat but all my fat just kind of disappeared. Not because of my workouts but because of stress I think.  I have kind of been senior comp in every way except teaching and it is hard when your comp doesn´t keep track of time well and a couple other things.  My pants fit better then before now.  Changes are next Tuesday and I'm not sure if I will leave or not but we will see. Spanish is still slowly coming. Oh and if you haven´t sent my package yet I need ankle socks and a few ties if you want.  Also some razors I can't buy mine here. I have a Gillette Fusion pro glide I think. Maybe a stain stick.  Also I hit 6 months on Thursday que cosas. I don´t know where this change went but it is a little weird. Hope this all made sense. Anyway that's about all I guess maybe some pictures next week. se extraño. Choa

Love,
Elder Wray
