Hey Guys
This week has been really short. We have had quite a few activities
and some good noche de hogars and had service twice this week in the
morning so we studied the siesta. Watched the Joseph Smith movie for
one of the activities which was really good. Sadly only the young men
showed up. Soccer the night before it was really fun. It was funny we
pulled out a ball with only like five or six people there then in like
10 minutes we had like 20 pèople there that were not members. It was
like they came out of holes in the ground the second we had a ball.
This week is going to be super fast. Tomorrow night at 1230 I get on a
bus and head to Deo(Montevideo) for a temple session with my MTC group
because we didn´t get a chance when we got here. I get back Wednesday
night. Then Thursday I have divisions in some one elses area. Saturday
is Elder Bradshaws 2 year mark and the ward Talent Show. Then it is
change week. I will most likely stay here at least one more change. I
might get a latino but I am not sure I am just hoping he is not a
trucho. I probably had the greatest experience of my mission thus far.
We have been working with a menos Activio for about a change know. He
use to be the ward mission leader but when he was released he went
inactive. We got him to read the Book of Mormon again and he said he
started to feel like he did when he got baptized. And for the first
time he came back to chruch. He told us he was but he showed up 10
minutes late. So when he walked in to elders quorum. Everyone stop and
gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Then after the meeting more
people came up to him and hugged him. It was almost like the Prodigal
Son. I can´t describe how happy I was to see him walk through the
door. Hope fully he continues to come. Any way it is about time to go.
We are going to have RootBeer Floats. Cant wait. The rootbeer is
really creamy really good. When you send the next package when ever
that is I need some more ankle socks because the person that does our wash lost mine.
Anyway Love,
Elder Wray
